![]() ![]() FlatFlowy is compatible with most desktop and mobile browsers.īig Hat Tip To: the fabulous Erica Heinz for the original CSS and screenshot. It works as a toggle click once for flat lists, and again to return to the standard view. The result is a simple, flat, distraction-free list when searching WorkFlowy. You just need a simple, flat list.įlatFlowy is a bookmarklet that hides the “breadcrumb” header, removes indentation, and hides parents. While WorkFlowy’s standard search results format is great for showing context and relationships, there are times you don’t want the noise of an outline. Dump your brain into this versatile web-app. Tame it with intuitive and flexible outlines. Press Tab to move focus away from the Search boxįlatFlowy now works with all WorkFlowy searches, including changed: and date operators.Enter last-changed:10000d in the search box.If you want to count only incomplete bullets, click the toolbar to toggle back to Completed:Hidden and repeat Step #2.īonus Tip: Count all the bullets under a single bullet * The last-changed: search operator automatically toggles to Completed:Visible. 3) Look at the right pop up menu to revel in your bullet proclivity.Ĥ) Press Esc to clear the search. 2) Type Ctrl+A twice to select all bullets (use Cmd for Mac). Have some patience, it may take a few seconds to render your last 27 years of work. This will enter last-changed:10000d in WorkFlowy’s home page search box, finding every bullet you’ve edited or created in the last 10,000 days. (and disregard the rest of this outdated blog post drivel) I recommend you read all the instructions before clicking the search link in Step #1. WorkFlowy deserves a better iOS (and MacOS…) app than this.UPDATE: The BEST way to count bullets in WorkFlowy, is to launch this from your home page: The web version supports multiple windows/tabs just fine. The inability to open more than one window is also a failing of the desktop apps, but that’s hardly an excuse. It *does* work well in pop-over on an iPad as well as in split screen… however it doesn’t support having two WorkFlowy windows side by side. ![]() You *can* share the current node and get a link that way, but doing so makes the node public, which is unnecessary and possibly undesirable. This feels like a major oversight given how WorkFlowy embraces cross-linking in general. What you cannot do in the app, AFAIK, is copy the link to the current node. They even work from within other iOS apps, so you can click a link in Reminders (for instance) and it will jump you to the correct node in the WorkFlowy app. It does support links at least, so if you write your WorkFlowy content on the desktop version you can include cross-links between nodes and they work. Shortcuts support would be *fantastic* for an app like WorkFlowy, but there’s nothing. It supports sharing text out of WorkFlowy, so this feels like a weird oversight. The most glaring omission is that there’s no way to share something (text, links) from other apps into WorkFlowy. It’s fine if you want to view your WorkFlowy content that you’ve created with the full version, but it’s weak when it comes to authoring.
